# About Mirabu

> Mirabu is a mobile app for iPhone and Android that checks a photo, a profile or a chat for signs of catfish, scams and red flags, and shows the reasons behind every result.

## Facts at a glance

- **What it is**: A mobile app for iPhone and Android. No account or sign-in needed.
- **Detectors**: Five: Face Search, Chat Analyzer, Relationship AI, Scam Detector, Profile Analyzer.
- **Free plan**: Two scans a day, up to 3 screenshots each, with the score, a short summary and the title of every finding. Sample results any time.
- **Mirabu PRO**: No daily limit for personal use, up to 10 screenshots per scan, the message behind every finding, next steps, a reply you can copy (Chat Analyzer and Relationship AI) and your vault of past cases. Weekly, monthly or yearly; the yearly plan starts with a 3-day free trial.
- **Results**: Signals, not proof. Treat a result as a second opinion and verify anything important yourself.
- **The person you check**: Is never notified. Nothing is ever sent to them.
- **Your uploads**: Deleted from Mirabu’s servers within 24 hours. Your reports stay on your phone.
- **On iPhone**: The photo is checked on the phone before anything is uploaded: if Face Search gets a photo without a face, or Chat Analyzer gets a selfie instead of a screenshot, you’re told first and can pick another photo. Android doesn’t have this check yet.
- **Languages**: English, Türkçe, Español, Português, Deutsch.
- **The name**: “Mira” means “look” in Spanish and Portuguese, “bu” means “this” in Turkish. Together: “look at this.”
- **Contact**: support@mirabu.app

## Five things it can check

- [Face Search](https://www.mirabu.app/face-search/): Is this person actually real? Finds where this photo shows up online. Flags photos taken from other profiles. Dates the oldest copy it can find.
- [Chat Analyzer](https://www.mirabu.app/chat-analyzer/): What do their texts really mean? Reads all your screenshots together, not one message. Spots vague plans, deflection and love-bombing. Notices when replies slow down, from the timestamps.
- [Relationship AI](https://www.mirabu.app/relationship-ai/): Do they actually like you back? Shows who puts in more effort. Picks up affection and interest signals. Spots when tense moments start, from the timestamps.
- [Scam Detector](https://www.mirabu.app/scam-detector/): Is this message a scam? Spots common scam scripts, like fake parcel fees. Flags suspicious-looking links and payment requests. Counts pressure and urgency phrases.
- [Profile Analyzer](https://www.mirabu.app/profile-analyzer/): Is this account fake? Reads the join date and posting pattern, when shown. Compares followers with activity for signs of bought ones. Checks if the photos look stock, borrowed or AI-made.

## How a check works

1. Pick the detector that matches your question and upload a photo or a screenshot.
2. Before your first upload, Mirabu shows what is uploaded, who analyzes it, how long it is kept and what the person in the photo sees, and asks for your OK.
3. On iPhone the photo is checked on the phone first. Then Mirabu’s servers, and the AI service providers named on that screen, analyze it only to build your report.
4. You get a score from 0 to 100 with Mirabu’s take and a short summary. With PRO you also get the message behind every finding, next steps and, for chats, a reply you can copy. The report is saved on your phone; the upload is deleted from the servers within 24 hours.

## What Mirabu is not

- Not proof. A high score means the signals deserve a closer look, not that someone has done something wrong.
- Not a way to reach anyone. Mirabu never messages or notifies the person you check.
- Not for tracking people. Only upload photos you have the right to use, and never use results to harass or track anyone.
- Not the only check there is. The guides on this site show free ways to check too, such as a reverse image search with Google Lens, Bing Visual Search or TinEye.

## How the guides are written

- Each guide answers the question in its title in the first paragraph, then gives checks you can do yourself and says where to get help.
- Every statistic, law or official recommendation links to its source: a government agency, the police, a consumer authority, a bank association, the platform’s own help pages or a reputable newspaper. Sources are opened and read before they are cited; a number that can’t be sourced is left out.
- No invented numbers, cases, quotes or experts.
- Each language covers the scams, apps and official reporting channels that people in its countries actually come across.
- Mirabu is mentioned only where it really helps, next to free alternatives. The advice stays safe: never confront, track or expose someone; if money is involved, stop paying, call the bank, keep evidence and report.
- Every guide shows the date it was published, and the date it was updated when facts change.
